Vesna Festival to showcase dance talent, seeks video auditions

February 11, 2009 -- This year we have an exciting addition to the program -- one that will showcase your talent through your dance choreography.

The Board invites you to submit a regular DVD disc (or VHS tape) audition of tthe performance you want to present at Vesna Festival 2009 by March 31, 2009. Performances should be 1 to 1 1/2 minutes in length and the entry DVD mailed to Vesna Festival PO Box 1592 Saskatoon SK S7K 3R3.

Categories:

• Family. Are you a family of dancers? Children with parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents and/or great grandparents -- this category is for you.
• Creative. Let four creativity go wild with Ukrainian dance -- solo, duets, groups.
• Future Red Boots. Her our cute little ones in our beginner dance community show their stuff.
• Top Flight. Our professional dancers wow the many attending Vesna with their magic -- years of dedication to Ukrainian dance demonstrated.

The finalists will be contacted by April 20, 2009 and will be featured in person as part of the entertainment. And, the audition DVDs will play in the background to our displays. An entry form is available here.
