UCC Regina Immigrant Settlement Advisor

July 11, 2010 -- UCC Regina is pleased to announce that Olena Shyian has been hired as our Immigrant Settlement Advisor commencing July 5th, 2010. Olena's primary role is to welcome newcomers and help them and their families develop the personal tools and resources needed for success in living and working in Saskatchewan.

Olena will be working in close cooperation with the Newcomer Welcome Centre, which is funded by the Immigration Services Division of the Ministry of Advanced Education, Employment and Labour -- to serve newcomers from a broad range of linguistic, ethnocultural and spiritual backgrounds.
