You are invited to attend our monthly Ukrainian Canadian Professional & Business Association of Saskatoon luncheon. Our guest speaker will be Patrick Lalach, who will talk about the South Bridge project.

Patrick Lalach is an Associate Vice-President with AECOM, located in their Saskatoon office. Patrick graduated as a Civil Engineer with Distinction from the University of Saskatchewan in 1995.

Currently, Patrick is the Design Manager and the Engineer of Record for the AECOM Design Team, who reports to the Graham Flatiron Joint Venture on the Circle Drive South project. The presentation will provide an overview of the project’s features, design approach schedule, construction challenges and other co-ordination efforts required to deliver a project of this size in a three-year window.

All UCP&BA Regina members and friends are invited to hear guest speaker, Yaroslaw Lozowchuk, who is well known in the Regina Ukrainian-Canadian community, talk about his participation in an international conference held recently in Ottawa which dealt with the topic “Ukraine at a Crossroads."

The conference focused on the current economic, political and social challenges which Ukraine is facing and what opportunities might exist for Canadians of Ukrainian ethnic origin to become more involved and engaged. If you or others have contemplated going to Ukraine for a visit or making some financial investments in Ukraine or have a general interest in Ukraine, this presentation should be of interest to you.

Buffet-style meal. Each participant is responsible for paying for their own meal. There is no additional charge for UCP&BA Regina members and friends to attend.

Lunch is followed by about a 30-minute presentation and then a question-and-answer period.
