The annual Shevchenko Concert sponsored by UCC-SB will be held Sunday, March 11, 2012 at 2:00 pm in the Ukrainian Orthodox Auditorium, 919 – 20th St West.

Admission is by free-will offering. Refreshments will follow the program. This is a public, family event and everyone is invited to attend and enjoy the program.

• Thursday, February 23, 2012 – Excursion to look at show homes in the Hampton Village area of Saskatoon. Meet at 6:30 p.m. in the parking lot at Bishop James Mahoney High School.

Saturday students: Meet in your classrooms at 10:00 a.m. for a short English lesson. Afterwards, join your classmates and your teacher for an excursion to the Wintershines festival.

Activities will be outdoors; be sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Bring your skates if you will be ice-skating.

August 5, 2010 -- Stage 1 English classes are more than just the opportunity to learn a new language. Students also participate in activities that help them with their settlement needs. They study practical topics such as health, banking, employment, shopping, leisure activities for families and transportation.
